Robert-Jonathan Koeyers (Curaçao) is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller. He studied animation at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and graduated with a visual poem titled ‘Here’ (2018) for which he was awarded a Drempelprijs (Threshold Award). From a very early age, Robert-Jonathan knew he wanted to tell stories in whatever way he could. Throughout the years he has been using film, photography, animation, music, and other mediums to help turn his ideas and stories into tangible projects that people could relate to. Often deeply personal, nostalgic and introspective, his work often sets out to explore and dissect the human condition and tries to examine why we work the way we do.
